Since its release in 2003, Warcraft 3 has held a special place in the hearts of RTS fans in the eSports community. What that special place is, however, depends entirely on your perspective. Many RPG fans turn away because the game is clearly an RTS, while RTS fans look at Warcraft 3’s RPG elements and scratch their heads. And understandably so: Warcraft 3 is not a traditional RTS.
World Cyber Games (WCG) announced the first seven titles for the 2010 Grand finals, and Warcraft 3 has once again been chosen. The Grand Finals will be held in Los Angeles this fall.
The announcement shines a hopeful light on the competitive Warcraft 3 scene, whose future has been questionable for some time. Over the past few years, Warcraft 3 has faced its share of troubles. As popularity continues to decline, sponsors have been dropping support for the franchise and its players, which often means retirement for those who can’t find sponsorship from other teams.

League of Legends Review: Why Did I wait so Long!?

To really understand where I’m coming from with this review of League of Legends, one has to go back to where I was first introduced to the MOBA genre, with Warcraft 3. War3 was released at a time when I was getting a little bored of RTS games so I spent a lot of my time trying out all the community created mods for it, one of which was a MOBA mod.
Time to creep! Using your DK and Fiends you can probably creep an orange camp if you use your Coil defensively to heal your units (if you’re going to play Undead regularly, you will learn to love your DK and his Coil like a brother). When you become a little more confident, you will want to creep with just your Fiends while using your DK to harass your opponent’s creeping. This is a little more micro intensive than most beginners can handle but can be very useful to more advanced players, using the Coil to steal creep kills.
Before I start on the main chunk of this article I would like to point out something which should be obvious from the title. This article is for beginners. Simple as that, so comments saying “omg everyone knows that, noob” are unwelcome and unnecessary. That being said, any pro will tell you that there’s always room for improvement.
